Date: August 26th 2009

Oops, seems we are a little rusty, few elements of spamming may have been forgotten, like 'checking links' (it's http://www.thehifi.com.au ).. and 'specifying exact dates' for those that don't check their email until next week, when I saw THIS FRIDAY, I do mean the 28th of August, 2009.. ;)

Nearly got it though..

Hey there,

Remember us? We used to spam your inbox on a weekly basis about upcoming gigs etc? Back in the days before we hid ourselves away from the world to record an album, and then took a little hiatus to finish writing so we can finish recording...

Well, it seems spamming IS just like riding a bike, it's been a while, but I think we remember how this works..

WE HAVE A SHOW THIS FRIDAY! - There, we remembered how!

We're lucky enough to have been invited to play the opening slot for one of the biggest parties West End has seen in years, when Mr Laneous & The Family Yah launch their debut album at The Hi-Fi Bar this Friday.. (btw, we told you they were our favourite band years ago, only thing that's changed it that they've gotten even better, and favouriter..Is that a word? and now they have a killer album to prove it)

The main support is Olmecha Supreme, from NZ, who were a hit at last years Island Vibe. Doors open at 8pm, we should be starting pretty soon after, so make sure you come early! Tickets are $12 + booking fee from www.hifi.com.au and make sure you don't plan too much for Saturday other than maybe lazing around enjoying a good hangover in the sun, because this night is pretty much guaranteed to be crazy.

We have HEAPS of awesome shows coming up, including a whole bunch of festivals and the like, so keep an eye on your inbox (or spam filter), or add yourself as a fan on our facebook or myspace pages.. or even look us up on Twitter..

Much love,

Grassroots Street Orchestra

xx

PS. There'll be a couple of the new tracks off the album getting debuted at the show too we reckon.. Keep an ear out for 'em! ;)
